Andrea Bensussen
Andrea loves performing; it’s an art that each individual does in their own unique way. She feels it’s amazing to see all the effort put into a piece; viewing it from the beginning of the production to the final product. It’s very demanding, yet rewarding, and she enjoys every aspect of it.
Her mom enrolled her into dance classes when she was 5 thinking maybe dancing would help her daughter become more confident. Well, her wise mama was right! She loved it and would not have changed a thing! Andrea has danced on San Jose, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas stages; those were the most exciting dance competitions. Tap, jazz, modern, clogging, hip-hop, burlesque, ballet, you name it!
Andrea is highly involved with acting in San Diego as well. She hosts a talk show, “The Talk of San Diego” that airs on Cox Cable, Time Warner, and AT&T U-verse. She’s been featured in a Jerome’s commercial and has been a cosplay model for Comic-con. Andrea is also a cast member of the largest murder-mystery, dinner-theatre show in the United States, “Dinner Detective”!

I’ve had Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy since 2002, a nerve disorder that causes limited mobility and severe, constant pain. I’d boxed up my tap shoes & thought I’d never dance again. Larisa Hall @ Tap Fever worked w/me to start tapping again. She was helpful & patient!
