I’ve had Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy since 2002, a nerve disorder that causes limited mobility and severe, constant pain. I’d boxed up my tap shoes & thought I’d never dance again. Larisa Hall @ Tap Fever worked w/me to start tapping again. She was helpful & patient!
Larisa and the rest of the staff were very supportive and helped me find some rhythm. I no longer have two left feet! I will continue taking tap classes and maybe even impress my girlfriend!
I love Tap Fever! I am a teacher of the visually impaired and have been bringing students to Larisa’s class for two years. Larisa engages the students and helps them understand dancing in more than just a visual way. Tap Fever helped my students be more confident in front of large groups and audiences.
I’ve taken several kinds of classes there, and all the teachers are top notch. Larisa, who runs the studio, is a really good dancer and choreographer. She chooses fun songs and great costumes! I’ve been dancing all my life, and I have to say Tap Fever’s “Burlesque” class is the most fun I’ve ever had!
I just started at Tap Fever, and I honestly can say that I have a great time. As a guy, I will concede that tap dancing is silly and foppish, and yet I manage to enjoy myself every class.
Best Dance class I have ever attended!!!! Will refer everyone I know here! Larisa was so patient with me and I learned soooo much from her. I will be going there from now on. I learned more at this studio than I ever have in all the years I have been dancing!
I came to Cara’s Zumba: Top 40 Jams class here for the first time 3 weeks ago and have been hooked ever since!! I hadn’t worked out in over 6 months and this class was so much fun, it was like a dance party! In addition to being an Amazing workout!!
I took Burlesque classes here and had SOOO much fun! Larisa’s choreography was new and hip and her teaching style made it REALLY easy to learn. She offers a ton of classes too so you’ll never get bored.
Tap Fever is a one stop shop for dance education of all kinds. I know the owner very well, and she is highly professional and hires the best quality instructors for her classes. I would recommend this studio to anyone who is looking for a wide variety of dance styles, for tots, kids or adults.
Best dance studio in the world! Great classes for everyone. Tap Fever really supports the community. THE place for tap, and other types of dance as well.
The Adult Rhythm Tap classes taught by JJ are challenging, but motivating. JJ is energetic and has engaging choreography. It is difficult to find decent adult tap classes in San Diego, so I am glad I found this place.
I’ve been to the Zumba class with Cara and the Cardio Hip-Hop with JJ. The Zumba class was a lot of fun and they played good music. Cardio Hip-Hop with JJ was awesome too. He’s really cool and made me feel comfortable very quickly, even though I’m a terrible dancer and have zero rhythm.
Love the variety of classes and that it’s a non-profit, so they put the funding back into programs like scholarships and classes for students who are visually impaired or have limited mobility. The instructors are great and signing up for classes is easy. FUN, HEALTHY, and GIVING BACK all at the same time!
All of the instructors that I have met are extremely nice, knowledgeable, and very passionate for all types of dance! I took the Burlesque class, which is a blast! The class is both hugely entertaining and enjoyable, as well as a killer workout! I’m excited to try some of the other classes next!
I was never really into dancing until I met Larisa a couple of years ago and was introduced to Tap Fever Studios. So far, I have taken a few different classes; including tap, hip-hop, and burlesque. And, I love it!! It’s so much fun!
I’ve never taken any dance classes before this place. I enjoyed the tap class for beginners. It’s difficult to find those and this studio has a wide range of classes. Also, it’s a non-profit that offers classes for a wide range of participants…way cool.
