Tap Fever Studios specializes in more than just tap! We offer classes in each of the following dance genres:
Tap dance is achieved by using the sounds of metal plates on the bottom of each shoe (at the heels & toes), hitting the floor as a percussive instrument.
Ballet is a graceful, yet highly technical and precise classical form of dance. This style has its own vocabulary based on French terminology.
Contemporary dance is based on ballet techniques, but is more free-spirited. The choreography is commonly inspired by the lyrics from the music.
Hip-Hop dance is a hard-hitting style of dance with intricate isolations. The swag and style produced is as important as the movements themselves.
Jazz dance is a snappy, sassy, theatrical type of dance. It can be danced to mainstream music, or Broadway. Every movement conveys lively expression.
This class is structured similar to a Zumba class where we have easy to follow routines. The instructor will give modifications if you need the steps easier, or more challenging.
