TAP: black tap shoes (any color for cardio tap) Toddler Option
JAZZ: tan jazz shoes Toddler Option 1 | Toddler Option 2
BALLET: pink ballet shoes (boys may wear black ballet shoes) Toddler Option
CONTEMPORARY: barefoot, or half sole shoes
HIP-HOP: black dance sneakers Toddler Option 1 | Toddler Option 2
ACRO: barefoot, or half sole shoes
Adaptive Dance: barefoot, or socks
NO jeans, dresses, or large tutus are permitted for any age. This dress code is for the instructor who needs to see how your body is moving in the technique, and you need to be comfortable with all the moves.
AGES 10 and under
• Any color leotard and tights; sheer ballet skirt is ok
• Male kiddos may wear stretchy shorts + fitted t-shirt
• Active/athletic wear such as leggings & fitted top are permitted for hip-hop & acro
AGES 11-16
• Active/athletic wear such as leggings & fitted top are permitted for all styles except ballet
• Any color leotard & tights are acceptable for jazz & contemporary classes
• Sheer wrap skirts are optional for ballet
• Beginning Ballet = black leotard • Int-Adv Ballet & Pointe = teal leotard
AGES 17+
• Active/athletic wear such as leggings & fitted top are permitted for all styles
Ballet classes for ages 7-16 require hair to be in a bun. Donuts make it easy!
