MISSION STATEMENT:
Tap Fever Studios uses a variety of dance styles to help build self-esteem, athleticism, and community involvement. We create accessible opportunities for all age groups regardless of background, physical ability, or financial situation to experience the joy of dance.
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: LARISA HALL
Larisa has been teaching dance since 1996, and worked in many different areas of television production from 1997-2008. Her most recent experience as a Segment Producer, with KUSI NEWS in San Diego, gives her a great skill-set to keep a dance program together, and qualifications necessary to direct a company's operations.
PRESIDENT: JANENE ESQUER
Janene is an alumna of the University of Maryland and has been an Office Manager for over 15 years to include Business Development, Marketing, Event Coordinating, Meeting Planning, and Human Resources. She has volunteered with the Mental Health Association, The Human Society, Clean San Diego, and Creek to Bay. She enjoys local live jazz and blues, the San Diego Symphony, and loves to dance. She brings this range of management expertise, community involvement, and appreciation for the arts to support Tap Fever's mission to bring dance to all!
SECRETARY: SARAH FREEMAN
Sarah earned her degree in Hospitatality and Tourism Management from Virginia Tech. She has had extensive experience with office management and human resource tasks. Her attention to detail makes her very qualified as our Secretary.
TREASURER: HANNAH CHEADLE
Hannah is a full-lifecycle technical project manager, driving projects from client interactive roadmap development and full website redesigns, to mobile applications and e-marketing campaigns. As an interactive project manager, Hannah manages budgets up to $1m for clients such as Qualcomm, ISC, ESPN, San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E), DTS, Hasbro, ABC, and the California Teacher's Association.
BOARD MEMBER: AIMEE ALARCON
A UCLA alumni, Aimee is currently earning her master's in communication from SDSU while working in public relations for biotechnology company based in San Diego. She is excited to take part in Tap Fever's mission to support the arts in our local community of Bird Rock/La Jolla.
BOARD MEMBER: CANDY URREOLA
Candy has always had a passion for the arts, especially dance since her first trip to the theatre to see Fiddler on the Roof at the age of two. Urreola currently works in the hospitality industry in sales and marketing. Her past work experience in development, events, and marketing for the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and San Diego Convention and Visitors Bureau has been key to Tap Fever's fundraising efforts.
BOARD MEMBER: ERIN ROBERTS
Erin has been working in the music industry for over ten years and has come to understand the unique needs of small businesses in the La Jolla area through running her own local music and art company, Prodigy School of Arts. The Prodigy School has enjoyed collaborating with Tap Fever in performances, summer camps, and other arts events throughout the year.

BOARD MEMBER: KAREN YASGOOR
Karen has been part of the La Jolla community since 1985 and very excited to discover Tap Fever Studio in the heart of Bird Rock for anyone who simply wants to dance! Upon seeing the musical, Riverdance, Karen enthusiastically began tap dancing and has been promoting its instructors and classes ever since. She is honored to participate as a member of the Board and be part of Tap Fever’s mission and growth serving the La Jolla community.
BOARD MEMBER: MELISSA GENO
Melissa is currently employed with SDSU research foundation, supporting adults with disabilities. She has volunteered and/or organized events for causes such as Feeding America, Susan G. Komen Foundation, and San Diego River Park Foundation. She is honored to be working with tap fever studios in supporting its mission.
