Tap Fever Studios’ community partnerships include many local non-profit organizations throughout San Diego that serve the disabled community. Our goal is to inspire our friends to stay active, and share the joy of dance! There are many opportunities available for dancers with disabilities. We will always do our best to help all our dancers succeed.

Tap Fever Studios supports our neighbors in multiple ways. We connected to our community by bringing dance to all walks of life. Our dancers make an impact through outreach programming, extraordinary performances, and unique collaborations. Dance schools are able to provide many social and cultural improvements in the community and surrounding areas for children, teenagers and adults by expanding social and cultural interaction, and provide an overall community feeling of well-being and togetherness.

Dance is the only time in which “breaking it down” builds you up all at the same time. In dance, culture, and art, racism, sexism, ageism, and all the other negative “-isms” fall into a void. It’s necessary for personal growth for each individual, and the collective growth of humanity, and only suffers because of miscommunication and misunderstanding. -Unknown

KIT Inclusion Training

One of our sources for maintaining exceptional program quality is a locally founded program called Kids Included Together (KIT). KIT specializes in providing best practices training for community–based organizations committed to including children with and without disabilities into their recreational, child development and youth development programs. KIT’s goals are to enrich the lives of all who participate and to increase understanding and acceptance of disabilities as a natural part of life.
