Attire
• Dancers should wear a leotard and tights, with hair pulled back away from the face. Sheer ballet skirts are also acceptable. Male kiddos may wear stretchy shorts and a fitted t-shirt.
• Absolutely NO jeans, skirts, dresses, or large tutus will be permitted during dance class. Dancers need to be able to move easily, and the instructor needs to clearly see your movements.

Watching Class
To encourage young dancers to learn independence, during class, parents may wait under the pergola, or on the west patio. There are windows on the west patio, where parents can peek into class. Having parents in the dance room (during class) can be distracting for the dancers, so we ask that parents remain outside. If a child is having separation anxiety during their first class, we may make exceptions for a parent/guardian to dance with their child one time.
Etiquette
• Arrive 5 minutes early, so class can start on time, without interruption.
• Try to have your child use the restroom before arriving at the studio.
– If a dancer needs a potty break during class, we will let you know.
• Do not talk to your child through windows or doors during class.
